Good luck! Make sure that the connector end for the GPS is exactly right for your Garmin as there are a variety of connector methods. If you have a model that requires the cradle type cord, maybe Best Buy in Guadalajara?

You could buy an adaptor that plugs into car charging unit and has a usb port. Easier to find a usb cord for the Garmin locally.

Some models of Garmin have a traffic antenna built into the power cord. Not an issue in Mexico but should you plan to use NOB in the future, a proper power cord is a consideration.

How about having it shipped to a friend NOB and having them mail to you?

What is the model number of your Garmin?    I have an extra cord from my former non-working GPS.   If it works for your Garmin, you can have it for a $100 Telesiete card (telephone card) for my friend in prison.
