I know there is a Dry Cleaner in West Ajijic somewhere but I can't remember where.

That dry cleaner ruined a very expensive wool shirt of mine, so proceed with caution. Not saying they're awful, just saying they made a mistake and I paid for it.

Well I just dropped my suit off there for cleaning. $80 pesos and will be ready tomorrow. Hopefully they don't ruin it as it is the only one I brought down and I have a wedding to attend on Saturday.....jaja.

Sorry about your shirt. Maybe you did, but be sure to tell them what the fabric is, and if the girl doing the take-in seems unsure, ask for the owner. I had a hand made woven top that looked and felt much like wool, but it was cotton. The girl at the take in insisted it was wool, but the owner straightened that out and it came out fine.

there is one in chapala between the foot guy and optometrist on hidalgo[under saege's hair salon] but he dint do a very good job on our oaxaca rugs. if ya don't mind a little dye bleeding , they can be washed.

All Oaxaca rugs do not run but a lot of them do... All the great demonstrations on natural dyes are just that demonstrations.
I have a very large one and I wash it on the patio with a hose from the garden some soap and a soft broom. I dry it on the roof and no problems.
If you have one with strong colos and white a pale yellow in it, it ptobably will bleed..
