Use of Mexican Consulate in L.A.

Post by LaLnMX on Thu Apr 10, 2014 9:08 am

We will be starting the process for Residente Temporal and plan on using the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles. Has anyone used this consulate, and if so what was your experience and what is your advice for us? We plan on being there in June.

I used that consulate and so did a friend. We both had a very good experience there.

The entrance no the side of the building, on the side of a steep hill. You may find a very long line waiting at the gate. These will be mostly Mexicans waiting to do something at the consulate. You should go directly to the head of the line and tell the gatekeeper why you are there. He is likely to allow you to go right in.

Parking can be a problem.
