Tried Tor browser?

Post by sparks on Sun Jul 06, 2014 12:02 pm

Ran across this in an NSA spying article. Seems they don't like the privacy it gives. Sounds like there is a pier to pier network, kinda like torrents, and you somehow connect thru these other computers. I wonder if it would work as a "hide your IP" program to access restricted sites.

You gotta be kidding. According to the article they already have "your number" just for reading about it. Gotta be a few Canadians who could care less what the NSA thinks

This is old news. The tor project was the backbone to the Silk Road site. People were trading illegal drugs, completely anonymous, using bitcoins, again anonymous. Silk Road was crushed last year, bitcoins are still around, but not as popular.
