What's the word on ColdwellBanker?

Post by tombo on Fri Feb 27, 2015 6:47 pm

We're living in the States now, but interested in a particular Ajijic rental through ColdwellBanker that is available in the spring. Can you share or relay an experience about them as rental agents? Thanks.

I'll leave this post up for another day or two--it's pretty pathetic not to get even one response. Based solely on a half dozen email exchanges during the past week, I found the CB rental agent to be very responsive and helpful. So, on this evidence alone I'd give ColdwellBanker high marks.

I guess you are only going to get a response if any member on here had experience with them. Apparently no one has. Being that you seem to be their only customer I'm happy to see they treated you well......jaja.

Nice.

If Paty Lopez is still handling rentals for them, in the past I found her to be attentive, professional and responsive. That is pretty rare around here, by the way. Other than that, I've never actually rented from them, which accounts for my previous, pathetic lack of response.

I used Paty Lopez back in 2004, and she did a good job. I believe most of the larger real estate agency have a rental department. I am pretty sure Eager also has rental properties, as does Chapala Realty.

Paty still handles rentals, and she handles rental service for Villas del Sol.
Her reach number is 376-766-1152.   Her office is Coldwell Banker on the Caraterra next to Lloyd's across from Multiva.

tombo, As you get more familiar with the boards, you will find there is animosity towards Coldwell banker/Chapala.com, and many members of Lakeside.com and the Chapala.com site. They have a monoply on their site. They won't allow any Real Estate promos to be listed in posts. Beer Beer Beer Good luck on your search.

Coldwell Banker is a first class business and their board is as good as it's members, first class. Everything else is personal opinion.

No one said it and no one said they said it. Everyone offered their opinion.

Contact Patti at Coldwell Banker-Chapala Realty. She handles the rental end of the business.
