Located in the building on 16 Septiembre, Ajijic, where Red Piano used to be, a block west of LCS. Next door to "Kiss My Glass".

If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing a real treat. Different specialties every week from Thurs.-Sunday. Regular menu also. Wine and beer. Serving 10 am on through 9; Sunday till 6.

This was seafood week. We had the Thai shrimp yesterday. Melt in your mouth sauce; large fresh shrimp (and a generous serving of it) along with perfect rice and veggies. Warm bread and butter, too. $110 pesos.

Or, if you want the popular lamburger, it's large, juicy and around 70 pesos. Hamburger for less. Lots of other items.
Charming "shabby chic" decor. Attentive waitstaff. Don't miss this winner!

Agree Gringal, a very nice place. We've gone 3 - 4 times and the food and service has been very good.
I second the recommendation.

Ate there today for the first time with a group. Many choices on the menu for 55 pesos including the sandwich, new potatoes and salad. A real keeper.

Went there today. French specialties this week on the board menu, plus the regular menu. Husband loved his lamburger; regular menu. I went for the specialty stuffed chicken breast and the sauce was.....oo la la! Came with scalloped potatoes and veggies.
Sure, there are 55 peso specials......but live a little and try their best. Mine was only 95 pesos, and well worth it.
Now, they are serving hot rolls in a basket instead of mere bread. Yum.

Another plug. We're hooked on the place. Today, Sunday, we went there at 10 (at low season, no problem getting seated) and I had the eggs Benedict. 70 pesos. Warm rolls arrived first. Eggs perfect; small red potato halves fried in a little olive oil and a salad. Spouse had the omelet: 50 pesos. Stuffed with gouda cheese and crispy bacon pieces. Toast and salad along with the same potatoes. IMO, an amazing bargain for really good food. Kudos to the chef and the waitstaff. Very Happy

I have one small complaint. First I almost never eat out in Ajijic so I am not a customer to be concerned about. I do find the tables blocking the sidewalk a bit rude. I wanted to walk by and look at the glass store but the sidewalk was blocked, so I crossed the street, walked on the other side, and missed seeing it. I guess I could have walked out in the street and then back around but that seemed a bit much.

Ate there for the second time last night.

Great value and good food. Each week a special cuisine is featured.

Attentive wait staff and caring management.

And now that I know they serve breakfast.......

What tables? There is one small bench against the wall, easy to walk around. Maybe for people waiting to get in??
Down the same street, there are some tables blocking the sidewalk. I don't like that, either.
