While not in Ajijic, we used Notario #2 by Century 21 in Chula Vista. He was recommended to us by Intercasa and we were very happy with his work. We had our property title in 4 weeks after closing. He speaks excellent English.

spencer also recommends the notario across from the coffee tree in chapala who we have used.

I think all the notaries in Chapala (Municipio) have a pretty good reputation.

I used Notario #2 for the house purchase, wills and POA for health care.

Very thorough though expensive.
