US Consulate Guadalajara Wait Times

We have a 2pm appointment next Monday to have something notarized. When I googled the location there appears to be a long line of people waiting to get in. Anyone know what the wait time to get in is and whether having an appointment makes a difference? I have one shot at getting this notarized before returning to the US for a property closing and can not miss this appointment. Thanks.

You shouldnt have to wait long, maybe 20 minutes inside, I have been there probably 10 times in the last 2 months and wait times have been as quick as 10 minutes to as long as an hour but if you get there 15 minutes early you will beat the passport renewal crowds that have be there from 2 to 245pm.

Thank you Spencer. Got our stuff notarized today and it could not have been any easier. Just like you said about a 10-15 minute wait. Public pay parking about a half block down the street. We got there early and got our ticket number for the outside line at the walkup window on Av. Lopez Cotilla. Got a bite to eat on the corner at the "comida corrida" joint and waited our turn. Easy peasy.

The long line of people I saw on Google was on the opposite side of the building and appears to be for mexican nationals getting visas.
