Ibought a new quad ATV 2 months ago and registered it. I don't know if the cost was only for registration or included some kind of sales tax.

So when I pay in January, is there a protation or such?

I just bought a vehicle yesterday and have to pay today, then I have to pay for the plates in Jan or whenever. 2 totally different things, you paid to put it in to your name, then after the first of the year you pay for the tags.
