Occasionally the forum host signs people out. It can happen when they are doing maintenance or as an anti-spam measure. It can also happen when switching browsers as Zed has pointed out or if you have deleted cookies.

No browser switch, in fact, no changes at all. There doesn't seem to be a pattern it seems to be every couple of days much more frequent on the tablet than the PC.

Sounds more like 'forum hosts'. It's only been happening for about a month. Didn't have to log on for the PC this morning. I'll make note. Thanks!

Little mystifying glitch. After I make a post, the whole forum goes away and I have to go back in from scratch. Is this normal?

Sounds like a browser problem. Try rebooting?

The tablet could be deleting the cookies every time you shut it off? Check the settings.

I don't have any problems with my Samsung or Kindle tablets.

I will check, thanks. It's a Kindle Fire and for a few years I have not had this issue, something new.

Not that big of a deal, just a nuisance.

That's the first thing I thought, Zed, but no. I can't find a pattern, I'll pay more attention.

Just turned on the tablet and clicked on IL.com and am still logged on from yesterday at this time. Also logged on on the PC.

After being logged on and posting this morning, had to log in again on the PC just now with the window still open and no action on my end. Tablet still logged on.
