Probably a problem with Yahoo. I'm receiving my hotmail on my Kindle without any problems. Have you tried deleting your Yahoo account off the Kindle and reinstalling it again?

Yep, used the "mayday" feature and they fixed it - again! Since we are having no problem with yahoo mail on the PC, I was thinking it was an Amazon problem.

I got so tired of yahoo mail problems. I needed a solution that didn't involve cancelling my yahoo account because it is integrated into all of my online accounts and would be a pain to change. The solution was to have gmail pick up my yahoo mail as well as my gmail. Easy to set up and now  no more yahoo mail problems.
