Virus Protection Empty Virus Protection

Post by Hensley Sun Jul 31, 2016 6:05 pm

Well today I get a message that my virus protection is expired or needs updated so I bring it up and click on it to update now, I have done it 4 times and it will not complete the update.
It is Microsoft Security Essentials and I have Windows 7 Ultimate with 64-bit Operating system, any suggestions on what I am doing wrong as it says I am not protected.

I've been trying to do some Windows 7 updates tonight, too, and nothing is happening. I suspect there is a problem on the MS end.
