A place to stay in February 2017

My wife is having some of her friends visit in February. There are a total of five ppl, 4 women and one man.

Looking for some reasonably priced accommodation for 8 nights.

Should be in Chapala.

I recall someone on this board has a place that rents but don't know who. I was there once when a new Chief of Police was coming in and it was nice.

Suggestions as to what, where and ho much?

Hiya - we're the ones with a short-term rental on the east edge of Chapala http://rdplakechapala.com/shorttermrental.html BUT it's rented from the end of December - the end of April. Racking my brains trying to think of something for you but, high season y'know, most places are rented. Try AirBnB, VRBO, and TripAdvisor. Good luck!

Clueless - someone in one of my Yahoo groups just posted this:
A friend's renters fell through and he now has a house available for the winter and beyond. It is available January 1 - March 31, 1,300 USD per month all inclusive of utilities. April 1st till June 30, the rent is $750 USD plus utilities. If you know of anyone who might be interested, they should contact him directly via the VRBO listing below.
