GAS SHORTAGE IN COLIMA?

I am traveling to La Manzanilla today and wonder if I will be able to find gas for sale. Has anyone made the trip in the last couple of days?

Yes, but on a private bus using diesel and we went to a couple of stations for the diesel here before starting out.

I think today and the next couple of days may be a different story. I think you could have problems. Sorry, hope not.

Additionally, due to the gas 'shortage', there were few food deliveries to the remote beach and hotel we were at in Michoacan. No avocados, limes - no guacamole or margaritas. . . La Manz will probably have food shortages too.
Not a great time to travel.

There were no lines in Melaque stations yesterday which are the closest to La Manzanilla. There were no other cars when I pulled up. Talking to the attendant, they foresee no problems. Gasoline distribution for the area comes from Manzanillo and according to people I spoke with there is no shortage.

We drove to La Manzanilla from Chapala this morning. Didn't see any gas stations that were closed.

The problem has magically disappeared......go figure.

Oh BTW.....gas prices are 15% higher today.
