Chili Cook Off Entrance Fee

Haven't been in a couple of years and want to know the cost this year? Thanks

And... on the same event:

Tickets cost?
What, other than the entrance, do you get?
Are the chilis sold or are there free samples?

Sorry, I have no idea what an event like this is here SOB.

The entrance is 30 pesos. You pay to go through and sample/vote the margaritas, salsa and chili. That is about $20 pesos.

Friday - Margarita/Salsa competition
Saturday - Chili Competition day 1
Sunday - Chili Competition day 2

Nope, I retired after last year. I still do the website until I can find a replacement. I am going to enjoy the event and compete in Sundays Chili competition.

Well I went. Wish I had taken ear plugs. CBob was not there. Entry #6 got my vote while a few saw the trash can.

Well entrance fee was $40p and then to taste the super spicy chili today was also $40p. Very chaotic, they should have had hospitality lines to keep it organized and more garbage cans, people were coming in the back way and not paying and getting chili and then asked us where you get the spoons, I told them they had to pay up front where they were suppose to come in, so anyone could have brought their own spoons and not paid.
Also saw the hot dog gringo guy drop his hot dog at the grill he was cooking and eating from on the ground and pop it into his mouth, I guess the 2 second rule applied there.
Too bad we went today and couldn't go tomorrow as I am sure Bob's chili would be better than any we tasted today, my stomach is still burning, even W. who can handle spicy stuff was on fire.
Music was pretty loud Mariachi's anyway and no place to sit if you wanted to eat.
People in the booths that were selling stuff were very organized.

No place on the site to leave feedback or to find out about advertising for next year, I would have put an ad in.

Sure! They were bit more than ketchup in spice levels and I tried them all.

Glad your such and expert on everything.

A friend of mine went yesterday, stayed for 2 hours and never saw one of those little shuttles for people who have mobility problems. In this area, and considering how far from the parking lot the main festival is, I think that should be considered for next year.
