I tried to research this question but didn't find anything on point.

If someone has the 180 day tourist visa, can they leave before it expires (178 days) and then come right back in? In other words, it there a minimum time one has to stay out of Mexico before returning for another tourist visa?

Also, with a family, does each child need their own tourist visa?

Thanks.

You can turn around immediately. Don't know about visas for kids.

Yes, every tourist gets a tourist permit, or a visa for residency.
