Here is this week's line-up. First the puppies:

Brea is a puppy-cute purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) black variety, about 9 weeks old. She came to us at about 3 weeks old and looks like she will be medium in size.

Bruno is Mamacita's puppy and she looks like a Cattle Dog mix. She has found a home but Bruno is still looking. He is mostly black with a bit of grey shading, medium coat and great long-haired ears. He is about 6 months old and maybe part spaniel? Bruno is also a love sponge.

Maisie, Malia and Mayra were also abandoned at the Ranch. <very big sigh> They are 5 months old, purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) black variety. They each have some one-of-a-kind white chest accents. And are about as cute and playful and affectionate as puppies can be. They are growing fast and we expect them to be medium sized dogs.

Rosie is one stunning girl, and pictures don't do her justice. I'm not making this up - she looks like a blue brindle Whippet mix. As her coat is growing in, it has marcel waves. Her tail has to be seen to be believed. It resembles a bottle brush with curly fur??? Kerry Blue Terrier??? She was found in SJC, sickly and alone. Our special volunteer nursed her back to health and what a beauty she is. Rosie is about 5 months old and is going to grow up to be one gorgeous affectionate dog.

Here are this week's adults:

Palma, Ghana and Blanca are a family of Mexican Street Dogs rescued by a kindly gringo couple. Health issues have forced them to rehome these lovely dogs. Palma and Blanca are medium in size and Ghana is large. They all have golden blond coats with red tipping.

Palma, the mother dog, is about 2 years old. She is a medium sized Chow mix. Palma is a wonderfully affectionate dog, with a soft plushy double coat. If you like to pat dogs, this is the girl for you.

Ghana is a year old male who looks a lot like Palma. Same thick double coat, but Ghana is bigger than his mother or sister. He is shy until he knows you. He was shy for about 5 minutes and then climbed in my lap and said he guessed I was OK.

Blanca is a year old female with longer medium length coat. A bit like a Retriever. She is also a bit reserved until she has met you. Then she is all hugs and kisses. Oh, and she has a pretty black mask and white chest.

And last but not least is Sweetie, who is not just another black dog. Yes, she is a purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) black variety, but she was named Sweetie for good reason. She was found abandoned in a field with several other dogs, but this pretty one year old has captured our hearts. She is medium in size with a short, low maintenance coat, just right for you?

All our Ranch dogs are neutered, current on their 6 way shots and rabies. Puppies have had some shots and been wormed, but most are not yet altered. We will pay for altering when they are old enough. There is no charge for adoption, but donations are gratefully accepted. For photos and pictures of all our dogs please see our Website:
