Durman Gas Line

Post by Kiri on Thu Oct 05, 2017 10:15 am

Would also like to know if anyone has had someone with experience applying Durman gas line?
This should prevent any future leaks due to pipe failure.

TIA

I used it to redo my gas line from the tank into the casa. Easy to DIY. There is a place on Girabaldi in Sta. Teresita (Guadalajara) that sells the pipe by the meter, all the couplings and tools. It is kitty corner across from Karnes Giribaldi.

Curious to know who installs this. Thinking of earthquake preparedness. We have copper pipe and a shutoff valve which is easy to shut off as long as you move the refrigerator, sigh!

I have seen a local guy shopping in that store - company name "Refrigeration Camarena" - Contact is Vicente Camarena Colon 38-A  376-766-2258.  Try him.

When I redid mine I ran the PEX tubing inside a piece of 1-1/2" poly so it is easy to replace and gives extra protection against movement or errant shovels/pics.
