Probably not a lady like thing to say, but I worked for large companies and one thing I learned about insurance is that there are a lot of insurers out there that don't pay their claims even when it's clear cut. Maybe John and I got lucky with S. NY Life.

The never ending saga....Allianz refused my accidental fall 2 months ago under the accident clause....they claim knee was already damaged and warn due to my age....instead of waiving deductible must pony up 25,000 pesos. Funny thing though my knee didn't hurt prior to fall. Blackeye

Simpsca - We didn't get lucky. We were lucky enough to have chosen Seguros Monterrey because they ARE a reliable, honest company who does pay their claims within a reasonable time. I'm not speaking for just you and I, but for many others I know who have SG even in my own Community. There are many other good insurance companies too: GNP, AXA, Met Life, etc.

The stories that Jim W tells of ALLIANZ are sickening. They are a German company.
