FM3 Documents Empty FM3 Documents

Post by mrum Fri Mar 23, 2012 6:47 pm

As Canadians, what documents should we have with us and which ones should be apostilled for us to arrive under an FMM and convert to an FM3 once we are there? Or the new equivalents as of this summer. Thanks.

You will need to get your "long form" birth certificates and marriage license "legalized" by the Mexican consulate that services your area. If you don't have "long form" birth certificates you will need to get these first.

Anything else Intercasa??

You'll need proof of income or resources and proof of address too. Just so's you know, we haven't had "FM3" for almost 3 years. You'll get a card that says "No Inmigrante." It's good for a year.
