Grandaughter

Our Grandaughter is 17, her mother passed on and her father is ...I have no idea. Will we have a problem getting her over the boarder without a parent since she won't be 18 till October?

Generally they don't care. My son is 17 and flies back and forth all the time. I do have his mom sign a note but they haven't asked for it in 5 years.

I have taken my kids down by plane from Vancouver before they were 17 and nobody said boo or asked for any verification at the Mexican border. I had a couple of questions when I went through US customs (because we went via LA) but even then they didn't ask for any documentation.
