Telcel down

Telcel is down in West Ajijic. Anywhere else?

My service just returned from Outer Cyberlinkia. Called another Telcel phone; went through. 3:15

Mine was fine at that time of day here in West Ajijic. I made and received a few calls right around 3:00pm.

My cheapie Telcel phone did not get any reception but my high tech Samsung Galaxy was able to get reception. I don't know if the high tech phones have a wider reach and are accessing other towers or what the story was. Reception is not back on for the cheapie but was not working all day.

Mine worked fine, the three times I used it. All of our phones were 3g.

I later heard that the cheaper phones that don't use 3G were down but that Smart phones with 3g worked.

I don't know that to be a fact

Telcel between Ajijic and SAT

I have two phones - the cheap one didn't work but the 3G did. Took me awhile to try the 3G to see that it worked.
