Celiac
Hi Doc, wondering if you have any good natural tips for Celiacs - besides the obvious. . .no gluten. Your post about inflammation made me think to ask.
TIA

This isn't the doc, obviously, but "Barbara Milagros" (Name of her website) makes a number of ready-made gluten free meals which are very tasty. She comes to the Farmers' market on Tuesdays. You can order ahead on the web and she'll have it ready. She makes a dynamite chicken curry, among other things. Good luck.

Re: Celiac
Boswellia supplements are good for inflammation. All natural but hard to find south of the border. Google it and read up. They are helpful for allergies, asthma, rosacea and a host of other conditions.

Re: Celiac
Yes she does, Gringal! I pretty much got the food part down.
Just thought he might know of some natural remedies specifically for celiacs . . . besides the antiinflamms already mentioned.

MORINGA!
I had never heard of this supplement until last Wednesday when Jim at the Gloriosa Salon mentioned it. I have been reading about it ever since and am blown away by its natural healing properties. It is available as either leaves or ground powder at the store next to Gossips (La Granja). I have been told it's also available at the Health Food Store across the highway from El Torito but don't know what format.
PURE VIRGIN COCONUT OIL!
This is also good both internally and externally...at Superlake.
WHAT WE'RE DOING:
1 teaspoon of ground moringa + 1 tablespoon of coconut oil + 1 tablespoon of PURE Maple Syrup...mix and eat with a spoon. We're not big on the taste but wash it down with water pronto.
You have to google Moringa and read about it...preferably sites that are not selling it.
For you Trailrunner...

Re: Celiac
You can buy Moringa Powder at the Monday Market. I just built a website for a person that sells it. If you want to read more about it see here:

CB. 2nd sentence, 2nd paragraph. There seems to be an omission.

What an amazing plant! I did not know about this, thanks for all the good information. I will go to the Mon Market and buy some.
CB, that is a very nice website. Attractive, simple, and informative.

Re: Celiac
Thanks. I like to keep websites clean and simple. I can't stand the ones that are so cluttered with bells and whistles you can't even remember why you are looking at it. I fixed the wording on the first page as pointed out by BR too........jaja.

Re: Celiac
Ok, I'm pretty sold on this. I bought 50 grams from DD at the Monday Mkt, so I'm on my third day of sprinkling it over my cereal. It is not an unpleasant taste, if anything it's slightly green nutty. I started with just a pinch, then a bigger pinch and today I'm up to almost a teaspoon. I feel an increase in energy and also an increase in mental/emotional clarity.
Thanks for the info guys, I'm telling everyone.
