Hint for removing stickers

I expect I am not the only one who has long haired dogs who seem to be sticker weed magnets. I found a good alternative to cutting the sticker out with scissors and getting poked in the finger. Douse the fur and sticker with Glicerina (available at most any farmacia) and it is dead easy to remove. The glycerine almost melts the sticker. The fur looks icky, and may need to be washed, but it sure beats cutting all the fur off.
