looking to borrow (or buy cheap) a power cable for my monitor

Post by jak on Sat Oct 26, 2013 2:16 pm

I came down from the US with my extra monitor (that I use with my laptop), but while I remembered the video cable, I forgot the power cord (DOH!). :)

It's a basic three-prong computer power cord like this one:

I'll be getting the cord within the next 2 months or so, but in the meantime would like to actually use the monitor. Does anyone have an extra I can borrow in the meantime? Is there a location Lakeside that sells these used or new?

Thanks for any help,
--jak

PS. My wife (Lobita) and I are new to the area, having recently moved here from Seattle. I've met a few folks from this board in person and found them to be welcoming and extremely helpful.

Pretty sure that WalMart has these - I can't imagine that they cost much.

Thanks so much for the offer, Eldergeek.

I think Zeninmexico is going to loan me one until mine gets here.
