Exciting Weather

It's exciting because it is so unpredictable right now. There is a slight chance this system will shift to the South, barely avoiding Chapala. This is the direction it is now - Southeast. But have a look at the big, messy system following in the Pacific - it could shift anyway it wants.

This is a good resource for water temperatures - which are extremely important to weather patterns. Puerto Vallarta has finally slipped into the same water temperature as Hawaii - the nights will be a few degrees cooler.

I wouldn't call it exciting, I'd call it depressing. This is the longest sustained period of cold and gray in the past 9 years, and it's in December rather than February as usual. Yuk.

In that change is exciting, then, yes, these are exciting times!
The grey can be depressing for us PNW refugees but then I console myself with the thought that it couldn't last for months, could it?

Down for 2 weeks from the PNW for our first scouting exposition. Had sun the first two days. Did not pack for cold and wet... Sorry but it looks like we brought the weather with us. Most things are postponed because of rain. This has not been the trip I though it would be...

tictoc, shit happens, and it sucks on your trip, but the good news is, this is the worst weather in years, and it will get better! Go to a restaurant with a fireplace. For breakfast try Delicias on the Caraterra.
