Accessing tv app without US cable subscription

We have been able to watch tv shows on ipad by using a US IP address. Now ABC is going to demand signing in through cable subscription. Others already had done this. Fear losing rest of channels soon. Any way to still be able to see current tv via app?

Do you have the paid subscription ? I tried the free and it keeps saying can't show. Like the idea of the DVD and cost isn't bad. Do you use without hiding ip?

I have the paid subscription with DVD. There is no need to hide your IP. This is a totally legit thing for people living outside the USA. The only drawback is the DVD sometimes fails to record all of a long show (movie, etc). The free service only includes the broadcast channels -- ABC to PBS on their schedule display.

I was under the i pression they eliminated the free service a while back. I was trying them out and recieved an email telling me it was only paid subscriptions. It didn't work that well for me so I didn't subscribe.

i signed up yesterday for the free channels. works great, but not sure if its legit...

Put in a help request and they sent me the mobile link for my ipad. Works great. Watched tv live last night. Like the DVR ability with paid version. Going to get it to view more channels and record tv shows. Thanks, Rolly, for sharing this service. Never heard about it before. Made our new year even better.

We have been using this web TV for 3 years here and have the free service as also have Telecable. No issues with the service at all. The free service is only available in the low resolution.
