Recommendations for Comforter cleaning
Hello,
Where can I take a large comforter to be washed? It doesn't have to be dry cleaned. It's just much too large for our washer. I'd like to drop it off & have it cleaned.
Thanks!

We took ours recently to the dry cleaners a few doors down from the waffle house on the carretara at the west end of Ajijic. ( Across from Fonda Doña Lola ) They laundered it for 80 pesos.

Ditto. There are no laundries here that are large enough to wash a comforter, but I have had very good results with the dry cleaners just east of the Waffle House. I believe they take the comforters to Guadalajara, but it is a short turnaround time. Mine came back fresh, bouncy; that is, no compressed filling, just perfect. You can judge their popularity by the large stack of comforters on the left hand wall waiting to be picked up.
