Re: Gail Collins RIP
Was "Susan" her forum name? I pictured her in my mind and pics in the article are dead on.

Re: Gail Collins RIP
Hey! I had the same Bass Guitar as Felix Pappalardi. Mine was a 1964 Hofner, serial #041. I bought it in Liverpool and sold it in Vancouver in the 1990's at a very good profit. The salesman at the consignment shop said it was sold to a member of The Waterboys, were a very respected band playing both Celtic and Rock and Roll.

Re: Gail Collins RIP
Delta lived a very isolated, reclusive, and in IMO lonely lifestyle here for 10+ years. I only knew one person that knew her very well (as well as anybody here), but other than that, I hardly believe anyone knew she existed.
Whether or not, she posted on the boards, I do not know.

Re: Gail Collins RIP
Not sure how reclusive she was as she worked for Diane Pearl for a number of years, held fashion shows at Roberto's Restaurant and briefly had her own store in the dog shelter when it was located next to Arden's.slainte39 wrote:Delta lived a very isolated, reclusive, and in IMO lonely lifestyle here for 10+ years. If this is the Delta I met on occasion, both in her short lived shop and at Roberto's, she was quite outgoing and personable. She was stylish and a pleasant woman to chat with. I can't imagine her being described as isolated or reclusive. I heard some time ago that she was dying of cancer. R.I.P., Delta.

Re: Gail Collins RIP
According to the article she left instructions that her cats be euthanized so their ashes could be mixed with hers....
