Nook Hd+ and Google Chrome apps Empty Nook Hd+ and Google Chrome apps

I am trying to install Chrome apps on a Nook hD+. I have updated the Nook to the newest firmware. Google Chrome is installed, but it won't let me add any google apps. Any advice? Does anyone give lessons on simple operations on this device?
