Looking to donate cotton items
I have on a regular basis used towels and bedding that becomes slightly stained or worn in places but still very usable. I can no longer use these in my business because of the imperfections. I want to donate these to a worthwhile cause in the area. The linens are cotton sheets and could be used for the material only if not as sheets. An orphanage would be ideal.

Re: Looking to donate cotton items
I have sent you a PM as we'll or a non-profit orphanage in Jocotepec. We just donated a sewing machine to them and the sheets, towels would be wonderful for them to sew items or use as linens. Great home for the children.

Also any of the animal shelters could sure use the towels. They can be dropped of at the animal store next to Ladron's Animal Hospital. Just call the shelter they are meant for and let them know so they can pick them up.

IMO, I think the kids should have first chance at these items, however, if you wish to donate to the dogs, HandyMail by SuperLake as well as PetCare, the pet shop in Riberas, accept any and all donations for the ranch. Towels in particular are a cherished item as the 80+ dogs are bathed on a regular basis.
They are also accepting at those locations any donations for their yard sale, while any gently used clothing may be left at Mia's in Ajijic or Terry's Tianguis in Chapala. Just let them know you are donating to Lakeside Spay & Neuter's account.
Don't forget the ranch is having an Adoption Day on Saturday in front of PetCare which, by the way, has quite an assortment of merchandise for your dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, etc, etc. Stop by and say hello, see the dogs and check out the store.
Watch for information on the YARD SALE the ranch, (Lakeside Spay & Neuter), will be holding the week-end of the 12th.
