6.7 located 23 km west of Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero.
Just terrific! A tropical storm, a flood and a major quake the same day.
No damage to report here but we sure had the bejeezus scared out of us.

I felt it very slightly, was the only one in the house who did, and am sincerely glad it wasn't my imagination.

Re: ¡Temblor!
This was sent to me yesterday by a fishing bud at Zihuatanejo.
Hey M,
It has been quite a morning. Starting about 3:30 this morning we had thunder and lightning and a lot of rain. It let up at 9:00 and I measured 7.5 inches. Not bad for 5.5 hours.
Then a couple of hours later a 6.2 quake. We hardly felt it. It went racing through. That gives us a 7.2, 5.8, 5.2 and a 6.2 quake in two weeks.
One interesting thing it was 91° inside the house yesterday at this time. We couldn’t hardly get any sleep at all because of the heat and 70% humidity. It is now a pleasant 78° inside the house.. It has been an even greater drop in the outside temperature. It went from 93° down to 75°.
