Mexico showed us some excellent offense today!

It was a very physical game and Mexico gave as good as they got.

Mexico allowed one goal late when the outcome was clearly decided. That was the only goal they allowed in their 3 matches. They have an excellent defense. Their 0-0 tie with Brazil was no fluke.

Seven points in the first round and all of them earned. No lucky breaks to put them through.

It was super chido. Did anybody else notice how much the match changed when Chicharrito came in for Dios Santos? I generally like Dios Santos but he was nowhere today. Night and day substitution.

FIFA.com says 11am local time.
