Noe's Father

Noe's father, Roy, passed away last night. He was a great guy and one hell of a Sax player.

Didn‘t his music help to make the Tijuana Brass famous? SO sorry to hear the news.

I loved that Noe and his Dad were able to share the joy of music. Noe's really going to miss him... as I think most of Lakeside will.

I will miss him.

Noe had told me that his father either wrote or collaborated on the song "Tequila" however I think it was a legend . As far as I know none of the original Tijuana Brass were from Mexico however I believe Roy toured with them at one time to provide some back-up sax on stage.

Yes, very sad. I saw Noe this morning to pay the deposit for my trip to Colima and he told me what had happened. It was too late when Noe got there. I've been listening to their music for 15 years and will really miss the combo of musicians.

So what can we do for the family?
