Pop Ups

I went to bed last night and shut down my computer like I always do and when I got up and went on the webboards and any other website on the internet I am getting all these crazy pop ups that dance around and move and keep coming up if you close them. It does not affect my e-mail, what can I do to get rid of these?

Sounds like what I went through a couple months ago with Vosteran. Check to see if your default search engine has been set to Vosteran, if it has been switched you have some work ahead of you. Lots if info out there. Good luck.

No I checked and Firefox is my default browser.
I cleared all my cookies which I probably didn't need to do.
I ran a full computer scan.
I defraged
I went to add ons and erased all of those.

Nothing is working.

Sounds like you picked up some malware. I would do a system restore to a few days before this happened.

Check your search engine in your browser settings. If it is Vosteran your browser will remain the same but your default search engine will be set to Vosteran.

That was in Chapala, not Joco.

I ran another scan the longer one and now the pop ups are gone, thank God!
