licence renewal

What paperwork is required in order to renew driver's licence? How long does for the process and ow long a drive to Ocatlan? TIA

No one has any info?

This link is for a chofer license, but it'd be the same. They've changed their website (again) and I can't be bothered to dig for a plain vanilla driver's license. Paperwork would almost certainly be identical, cost a bit less for just a car license. (Chofer is for cars and also includes small trucks, I think.)

An hour or so to Ocotlan, my office takes groups, need old license (make sure all details are correct, even CURP or they will not let you renew), blood type, passport, immigration document, utility bill, payment, CURP

Many people have a CURP number on their licenses that transito invented. If this is the case then a rectification request must be made in Guadalajara and you must wait for a resolution. We process these requests. If you try to renew and your name isnt exactly like your passport or immigratino card or CURP or blood type is wrong then you will have gone an hours drive for nothing.

Even though I provided them with all the docs you mentioned they managed to misspell my name on my last renewal,I guess I'll have to get that resolved before my next renewal in 2 years,what a PITA.

Good thing is that you have time to get the rectification resolution at your leisure.
