Maybe I'm nuts to ask, but does anyone know if Mexican Dr's accept U.S. Workers Comp Insurance? Or would I have to pay the doc and get re-imbursed from my insurance?

Would U.S. Workers Comp' Insurance accept you going to a doctor or receiving medical treatment in Mexico?

What i do (and some doctors in the Ribera) is charge to the pacients, and some of the Insurence re-imbursed the client, of course depending on the Insurence policy.

I assume you had a job related injury or illness resulting in a worker's comp settlement that included medical coverage for the injury or illness. Your best bet is to contact your adjuster and ask him/her. I can tell you that I'm in a similar situation and did just that. I was told that not only would they NOT pay for medical care or medications in Mexico, they wouldn't even reimburse me for any medical expenses paid by me in Mexico. They suggested I get my U.S. doctor to give me a few months supply of my meds and see him when I visit the States. BTW, my claim was in California -- YMMV. Good luck and please let us know how things work out for you.
