Re: Rain
Sounds like someone needs a nap. We're friends here... I think you should be able to discuss weather that is affecting you without getting snarky. ....or maybe not........

Re: Rain
Wow. Looks like it's time to batten down the hatches! Too bad all that rain couldn't hold out to dump along the US. California, Oregon and Washington are certainly in dire need of it.

Re: Rain
I think we had more rain last night than Friday night. This time it overflowed my pool which was about 4 inches from the top before the rain started.
Re: Rain
I agree. We had 3.75 in Las Salvias.

Re: Rain
My showers backed up again last night during the heavy rain so I called in a plumber to look at my main sewage line. My outdoor storm sewers feed into this same pipe. He found a blockage in the 6 inch pipe that goes from my rajistro (sp) to the main sewer line on the street. He unblocked it so hopefully this takes care of the problem. Anyone having a similar problem may want to get this checked out.
I used Jose Martinez. He came on time and speaks pretty good English. I have used him before and am always happy with his work.

Re: Rain
That was a LOT of water last night. No winds involved, thank goodness, but it just kept coming down. I slept through most of it, but was stunned by how much water had accumulated around the yard in some empty pots, etc. June and early July is always interesting, and challenging.

Re: Rain
Not nearly as much as the night before, only a little over an inch. I like it better in smaller doses!
