It's 4 years old; 500gb HD and I don't do gaming or heavy graphics. I have a good AV on it.

I had the re-install done by Computerland and I do think Rubin knows what he is doing.

Anyone have any great ideas for what I can check/try/do?

How much RAM does it have? More RAM equals higher speed.
