If I have a permanent resident status, is there a way to put a domestic partner on it so the partner doesn't have to leave every 6 months and get a new FM-T?

Has anyone been this route?

Yes you can do it BUT from what I recall they reformed the law to be able to do it outside Mexico, not inside. The rules for inside Mexico arent as specific.
