Driving through Guadalajara
We have to drive to the border tomorrow. Every time we drive up north we have trouble getting off the Periferico onto the 90D. Not sure what our Garmin does here but it always dumps us off in some strange remote area and we end up getting lost. Anyone have any tips for this area? My husband is considering taking the 23 all the way up through Guad to the 90D (since it will be early on Sunday morning) Comments????

Re: Driving through Guadalajara
1. Turn off the Garmin
2. Head toward Guadalajara on the highway 23
3. When you see big green signs for MEXICO to the right, take that turn.
4. Stay to the left and merge into the high speed lanes.
5. When you see big green signs for LAGOS DE MORENO, follow them.
6. As soon as you see signs for San Luis Potosi, go toward but not into it.
7. Follow signs to Matahuela; stay there overnight.
8. Continue to Laredo the next day.
