TIP refund at border

Heads up folks, aduana at it again.

My husband renewed his visa Temporal in May 2014 and we had Spencer's office draw up and send in the extension letter to Aduana. Crossing the border last week we were told the extension was not in the system. even though Spencer's office got it there three days before expiration of the visa. So, now we wait and see if Aduana will accept our letter and refund our $400 or not. If not, we will have to fork over another $400 when we return in a couple of weeks. Fubar Should have kept driving out of Mexico without stopping, except hoping to sell the car as going Permanente in May.
