Is there such a thing as an Ombudsman in Chapala?

I am having an issue with a local business and really don't want to go to Profeco but I don't want to walk away when I'm right.

Go to yout locsl delegacion and mske a complaint. They can issue a summons to appear to the business. Usually both parties in the affair will be brought together to present their side of the issue and the delegado will attempt to arbitrate a settlement. It is however nonbinding.

Did you figure on getting a better answer than the last time you posted this ver same question? Still trying to bust Pancho for selling underweight packages?

It continues to amaze me how after more than a decade living lakeside and being involved in any number of legal actions, Clueless remains clueless about where and how to get things and get things done here.

The "Delagacion" and the "Municipal Palace" are one and the same! I like the way you mix Spanish and English.

That would be delegacion as Clueless spelled it. It does have a tilde over the ó but I am usually too lazy to switch keyboard layouts for just one diacritical mark.

Isn't that an accent mark? And the tilde is the squiggly line over the n?
There is a shortcut code for that, google it.

Yes that might be correct about tilde in English. In Spanish tilde can signify various different diacritical marks. The accent being one of them.
