Everyone is swooning over the USD to MXN exchange rate however the CAD to MXN has almost hit the highest it has ever been.

13.69 to 1 the other day. The highest ever was around 13.89 to 1 back in 2012.

That's good. Is it to do with oil as well?

Well in 2012 oil was over $100 per barrel and today it is around $30 so I don't know. I do know the CAD strengthened lately because oil rose a bit however the peso should have risen as well.

Mostly because Mexico raised interest rates.
