Availability of Internet

I am looking at a piece of property about 1/4 km from Lucky dog.

I'm wondering of there is phone/internet available in that area? If not, can I pay to have it run in?

as a last alternative, is there any satellite internet for that area?

There is Satellite internet available in much of Mexico. The last time I checked, the speeds were appreciably slower than up North and the connection quite expensive. Hughesnet offers a fast program up north and much slower in Mexico.

If there are no other alternatives in your area check with say Satellite Systems in Ajijic at 766-1117 and they can give you an estimate about the costs of Satellite internet.
