What's your point this time? Just "trolling" or is it a little too warm to be on the beach? I could just as well ask how you are enjoying the incessant heat and humidity on the coast......but why would I?

Re: Perfect Weather??????
Humidity comes and goes and we usually have a breeze. Nights are in the low 70's and were in the low 60's a few weeks ago.

My house is very cool so no problems so far, enjoying the garden and the shade under the trees after a nice swim..it could be worst..

I just remind myself of Denver when the temperatures hit the low 100s. And ACs out because of the brown-outs. Then I remind myself of temperatures in the below 0s, driving and walking on ice and snow. Yup - perfect weather!

Jaja.....just about anywhere in Mexico is "perfect" compared to anyplace in Canada. Some parts just happen to be more perfect for year round living than others.
Re: Perfect Weather??????
I would trade any day a palapa for an igloo.

Cbob, part trolling (it has been slow around here) and part a delayed reply to a post of yours from a couple of months ago.
"Playaboy will be sweating his bag off again in Playa in a couple of months so we only need to feel bad for him.....jaja."
With that record breaking heat you are experiencing Lakeside, do you have enough talcum powder?
BTW, the Caribbean is perfect this time of year and the scuba diving has been great.

That one's easy. Old house with thick walls, tile floors. Fan going in the room I'm in. Minisplit on in the bedroom for sleeping. Comfortable enough, but happily anticipating the rainy season and its cooling effect.
Who can complain when you only have to put up with a couple of months of too hot during the year?

Really? I lived in the Caribbean for 28 years and while May is OK (hardly perfect for the Caribbean) you're gonna roast in September. If you don't blow away. No thanks.

Sorry, I got my story mixed up. It should have said with reference to Canadian weather.
Who would not trade their igloo for a palapa hut?

Within a few weeks the rains will start and this hot weather will be just a record in the local weather books. It will still be hot and humid at any coast.

Re: Perfect Weather??????
I grew up in Connecticut. April and May were beautiful and perfect. June, July, August and most of September were hot, humid, buggy. October and part of November was cool to chilly, colorful until the leaves fell. December, January, February and most of March varying degrees of cold from chilly to bones aching, snow, ice or icey snow, slush, biting wind.
Yeah. So, I am grateful that for just two months here it is sometimes too hot and for two months it is on occasion too cold. I'm good with that.

Jaja......yeah I knew you were just looking for trouble. It hasn't been record breaking at my place in Ajijic village yet. We had a hotter day two years ago (so far) according to my little weather station. Anyhow, I stick by my statement. We may get three weeks of heat but you have another 4 or 5 months to look forward to. Enjoy.
BTW...that friend of mine from PV just moved your way so you'll likely see me sometime in the late fall.
Re: Perfect Weather??????
The heat is not bad anyways.. try Tuxtla Gutierrez, Tapachula and many other places..

Re: Perfect Weather??????
San Miguel de Allende...too cold December, January and February.
San Pancho, Nayarit...too stinkin' hot and humid June, July, August, September and October.
Ajijic...juuuuust right.
It may be hot here but it's not humid AND there is a 20 degree F. difference between daytime high and nighttime low. Ya gotta love it.

Re: Perfect Weather??????
The weather we get to whine about locally is slightly uncomfortable for a few weeks each year.
If Playaboy lives where I think he does - Quintana Roo? - then he gets to endure 5-6-? months of shit heat and humidity, plus massive crap rain (and the occasional random hurricane) that would inspire everyone to head to higher ground for protection.
Except there isn't any higher ground. And for me, that landscape is as flat and dull as a tortilla, year after year, and the weather is worse.
I will grant you that the water on the carib side is gorgeous. But if you're not a diver, it's just living in a television commecerial. That's what vacations are for.
Enjoy your choice, Playaboy!

Quintana Roo looks much like many areas in Florida complete with the same weather. Hot and humid. Some folks like it and tell me Ajijic is too cold. Oh well.

We love the heat!
The pool is pristine, the margaritas are perfect, the view is gorgeous.
We close up the house mid-morning and open up in the evening. Life is good!
My garden is certainly looking forward to the rain...never enough sprinklers.

Yep, I'll take April/May over December/January anytime. One doesn't move to Mexico to avoid the sun & heat.
Re: Perfect Weather??????
yes forget Dec and January and enjoy the heat now.
