Jalisco laws on intestate succession.
Jalisco laws on intestate succession.
I know I can/should ask a Notorao, but I figured maybe someone here had gone thru it and knows something first hand.
I have a house deeded to myself and my wife.
I have a Will that says if I die first, she gets my real and personal property, including my half of the house.
Wife has no Will.
If she dies first, is her half of the house divided equally between me and her children? If not, how is it divided?
My next post is going to be an interesting Mexican Bar Exam question (even though there is no exam to take to be an attorney here, just take and pass the classes.

I would suggest that you ask her to get her own will prepared by a Notario. If she does not, you may end up with others as owners of 50% of the house. That can make it unsalable, as often happens in large families in Mexico.
