I have a bucket of Mexican coin. Anyone know of anywhere there is a coin counting machine in Lakeside? Or failing that, some other way - other than doing it myself - of getting the coin counted and rolled?

Is there too much to use as tips for the grocery baggers, coffee shop servers, gasoline attendants, charities, etc?  There's also a bunch of poor people on the street that could use a few extra pesos.  Just a thought...

Hire a neighborhood kid, have them stack each coin according to it's kind, in stacks of 10. Then take one piece of cellophane tape and run it once around the length of the coins on both sides, meeting at either end.

To market, hire the teen or do it yourself. For high volume sales make the stacks 11 each, and market to OXXO, gas stations, your bank, grocery stores, restaurants or any high volume business. Or offer an incentive to make the deal at 10 coins per rack. At 11 for the price of 10 you will be doing some swift business on the smaller coins. (maybe do a couple trial rolls first)

GIVE them to a worthy cause. GIVE them to the kids in your neighborhood a pinch or a handful at a time. GIVE them to the old or needy folks in your neighborhood a pinch or a handful at a time.GIVE.

I save all my centavo coins and when my container is full I give it to Charlie Klestadt and he takes it to Cruz Roja for their coin counters to count and roll. A painless way to give a little more than I normally give to CR.
