Trying to find a furniture refinisher

Can anyone tell me of a person around Lakeside who refinishes wood furniture that looks stressed or who paints them colorfully?

You might try Strom White on the s. side of the carretera in west Ajijic--they are movers, and they sometimes have to fix scratches or make repairs (NOT to say this is their fault!). I used to know a guy in San Antonio on one of the downward-to-the-Lake streets BUT I have lost contact, don't think he does it any more. If it is good furniture, I sure wouldn't paint it. Good wood furniture is at a premium here.

If you want colorfully painted, in Riberas across the carretera from Mom's and a little west on the service road is a great guy who does gorgeous work. Don't have his contact info but the building he is in has a lot of his work for you to look at and his prices are reasonable. The building he's in is colorful as well. He did a table & 8 chairs for me.

His name is Noe, directly across the highway from Telecable. A true artist with furniture and painting..Stop by and look at some of his furniture..He will make or refinish/paint anything you desire..
