R.I.P. Stacey Hewitt
Stacey Hewitt of the Raquet Club has passed away, suddenly, apparently peacefully, and of natural causes. We shared a few select friends, and I am so happy to have known her. And I will miss her.

As I said to Bob, I don't live on this board so I didn't see that about her passing.
I also don't understand about "Natural causes."
Stacy and I communicated regularly and she never mentioned any health issues. And she sure wasn't that old for "Natural Causes."
My wife and I will miss her also; we liked her very much.

I grew up in the mountains of NC. "Natural causes" meant there was no knife or gunshot wounds visible.

Jim is essentially correct, especially in Mx. This also indicates that there was no autopsy to find out either the physiological cause of death (CVA, MI, etc.
Usually it's an older person with prior per-existing conditions, when it happens to a "younger" person, however you define that today, in California, they usually look for foul play and check for things such as poison, asphyxiation, etc.
So I guess it works to say no apparent foul play.
Will therer be any service/memorial that anyone knows of?

Well I have had two friends in Canada drop dead from heart failure. One was 48 the other was 59. Both were determined to be "natural causes" and neither had autopsies. How old was Stacey?

If I recall right, in her mid-late 60s. Not really "old" by today's standards, and she never said a word about an health issues. In fact, she was scheduled to watch our house/pupsters while we cruise Alaska for a month starting mid-june.
She was very nice and I enjoyed interacting with her.
When I sent her an email and several days passed w/o a reply, I couldn't figure out why; she always responded, usually the same day. I never thought for a moment she had passed. I figured worse case scenario, maybe an accident or some really bad bug and she was in the hospital; this came as a real shocker to both myself and my wife. Stace had been over our little casa a couple of times.
More reason to enjoy each day and not let negatives crowd out the positive.

I was told she was in her mid 70s by someone who knew her. But like Bob said, it can happen at any time.
